Adobe House

Adobe House

Adobe House with natural mud stucco. Built by the owner from materials on the property. Two story building, first floor of adobe, and second floor constructed from natural timber. All the lumber for the house was milled from logs taken off the family property. Custom doors and tables from the same timber. The adobe plaster also contains ground mica to give it a soft shimmer in sunlight. The owner lives an organic lifestyle, so there are no chemical treatments of any kind in the house.

The roomy house has a large kitchen with dinette, a living room, a TV room, sunken living room and bathroom. The upstairs has three rooms and a roomy landing/office area. There is also a garage and a storage building.

The landscaping uses natural moss rocks from the property. Behind the house there are about twenty flowerbeds made from the moss rock.

Cabins

The cabins are also made of timber harvested on the property. One cabin has one large bedroom, one small bedroom, a bathroom and a large central area. The other has one bedroom, one bathroom and a kitchen/living area. Wood Cabin
